These star-shaped fruit treats are topped with Sambucol Black Elderberry Gummies and served with a Sambucol Black Elderberry dipping sauce! This makes a fun and healthy addition to any summer BBQ!
Ingredients:
- Fruits of your choice - for these I used watermelon, peaches, and strawberries
- Sambucol Black Elderberry Gummies
- Vegan Yogurt - I used a vegan vanilla coconut yogurt
- 1 TBS Sambucol Black Elderberry Syrup per 5oz of yogurt
- 1 TBS agave per 5oz of yogurt
Directions:
Wash and dry all fruit and cut into pieces large enough to use a cookie cutter. I used three sizes of shaped fruit in order to top each piece of fruit with another.
In honor of the July 4th holiday, I cut my fruit into star shapes. I used watermelon for the largest piece, which was the base. Then, I used two smaller stars to create the next layers. The second layer is peach, then strawberry. Finally, I topped each fruit treat with a yummy Sambucol Gummy. It not only tastes great but helps to support a healthy immune system.
To make the dipping sauce, I stirred the vanilla coconut non-dairy yogurt for smoothness, and added 1 TBS Sambucol syrup (for the berry taste and antioxidant benefit*) and 1 TBS agave for added sweetness.
Serve and enjoy!
